A great little ride around Lost Lake park (though not actually around the lake), this trail is made of crushed gravel and used as a snowshoe track in the winter. It’s suitable for advanced pushbike riders, and a great way to test uphill skills on pedal bikes. The ride up is easy with a few sections where some kids will have to push, but the ride down is smooth, though requiring some speed checks. This ride makes kids smile and parents gasp.
As a bonus, the last turn before leaving Tin Pants comes VERY close to the last little bit of a more advanced trail named ‘Peaches in Regalia’. If your ripper is so inclined, it’s a great place to jump over and introduce them to some intermediate, but safe, XC.
